Curvorian ("we", "us", "our") operates curvorian.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

Email address

When you subscribe to our launch notification, we collect your email address. This is sent to our email service provider, Buttondown, for the sole purpose of notifying you when our product launches. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email you receive from us.

Error monitoring

We use Sentry to monitor for application errors. When an error occurs, Sentry automatically collects technical information including browser type, operating system, device type, and the error stack trace. We do not collect IP addresses or personally identifiable information through Sentry.

Anonymous telemetry

Our visual effects library (Shaders) may collect anonymous performance data including frame rate, render times, browser family, device type, and the domain name where the site is deployed. This data cannot identify individual users, is sampled at a low rate (1-5% of sessions), and respects Do Not Track browser settings.

3. How we use your data

• Email addresses: to send launch notifications only
• Error data: to identify and fix bugs in our website
• Telemetry: collected by a third-party library for performance improvement (not controlled by us)

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Error monitoring data is retained for 90 days. Anonymous telemetry data retention is governed by the respective third-party services.
